Yesterday I was painting this piece on a 9x12 board. Going through my usual process I discovered something new, these black and yellow forms that look like bodies connected to their environments, almost like spirits would enter in and out if a space. Normally I would have painted within the negative, white space. In this case, I held back and allowed the painting to stay as is, which is part of my process's philosophy. Although unusual for my style, it is something I will continue to explore in future pieces.

This week, I lost a sister within my extended family.  She was kind, considerate and loving.  She was kind to me.  She loved life, her friends and family.  I pray for her father, husband and children through this difficult time they are experiencing.  That we are ALL experiencing.  It was too early.  I am saddened by her sudden departure and I thank you, April Morris, for the love you showed all of us. May God bless you and keep you safe.

I am very proud to announce that Oggun's Desk has found a new home.  Guy Fortune took this piece home on Sunday, July 13th, 2014 which was once a desk and now will adorn a wall in his home.  May it bring Guy much happiness in the years to come.

I created this custom piece in 2007 for a nook in my old studio.  Instead of purchasing a desk at a store, I opted to buy a slab of wood, cut it to size, paint it and protect it with resin.  I never thought it would hang on a wall one day.

On Facebook, there is an accounting service called Agro Accounting-For Artists. He claims to be a CPA but cannot provide a license #. Unprofessional.

It was an honor and a privilege to work with Pregones Theater, NALAC, Leenda Bonilla and the select volunteers.  I enjoyed working with professional individuals and organizations on Saturday, September 28, 2013.  The NALAC Regional Arts Training Workshop was a HUGE SUCCESS!  It was well attended, the information was relevant to what is happening now in the arts, the facilitators and moderators were spot on and the performances were amazing!  I am proud to have been part of this amazing event.  Thank you for including me in it.
